To celebrate their 15th anniversary, Distractfold are hosting a two-day contemporary music festival at Cafe OTO from July 4-5, 2025. Connecting geolocation with its sonic expression, the festival is divided into three programming strands which explore the acoustic ecology of geology/rocks, marine biomes, and human-machine interactions.

Hidden Mother has received The FST (Föreningen Svenska Tonsättare) interpretation award.

"The duo (Hidden Mother), which was founded in 2010 and consists of Magdalena Meitzner and Ulrik Nilsson, has through its signature of experimental stage art and sound art, not infrequently with a ritual side, pushed the boundaries of what percussion music can mean. Through their curiosity, their expansion of the sound sources and the integration of choreography, they have succeeded in building a unique and versatile contemporary repertoire from a large number of composers."
